Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Single Eyeshadows ‘Red Earth’, ‘Sienna’, ‘Morocco’, Truffle Glitter’, ‘Black Diamond’, ‘Dragonfly’, ‘Mermaid’, ‘Prussian Blue’

Anastasia Beverly Hills had an INCREDIBLE Black Friday sale with discounts on everything on their website. I was able to purchase a few of their shadows and began immediately slathering them all over my eyes the first chance I got!

I went HAM during the Anastasia Beverly Hills Black Friday sale. With 60% off single eyeshadows who can blame me!? I picked up 8: ‘Red Earth’, ‘Sienna’, ‘Morocco’, Truffle Glitter’, ‘Black Diamond’, ‘Dragonfly’, ‘Mermaid’, and ‘Prussian Blue’.

Let’s start off with the shades that I used for the look above! I was working with ‘Sienna’ and ‘Red Earth’ as transition shades. In order to make my crease more defined, I really worked in ‘Red Earth’ to create the illusion that my eyelid space is larger than it really is. I topped my newfound lid space with the LORAC Cosmetics Cream Eyeliner in ‘Navy’ to provide a base for my lid shade: ‘Truffle Glitter’. The blue helped the lid shade pop and gave a little color to an otherwise neutral look.

I was thrilled with the way these shades applied and wore throughout the three hours I had them on (party time!). ‘Truffle Glitter’ is a foiled shade so it did have some fall out, but that is to expect from a color that’s so intensely pigmented. ‘Red Earth’, ‘Sienna’, and ‘Morocco’ were all purchased because they are ideal transition shades for my complexion. I’ve had my eye on ‘Red Earth’ specifically for a while and boy did it fulfill all my rusty brown dreams.

Next up, ‘Mermaid’ is one of the most glamorous blues I’ve ever had the pleasure to smear on my eyeballs. It has a slight color shift similar to that of mermaid scales (appropriately named am I right!?) with the same high level of blendability that the other shades offer.
