First Impression: Too Faced Vegas Nay Stardust Palette

Too Faced Cosmetics teamed up with social media sensation Vegas Nay to create a custom eyeshadow palette exclusive to the Too Faced website and Ulta Cosmetics (both online & in-stores). If you are a makeup lover and have not been introduced to Vegas Nay, I hate to tell you, but you’ve been living under a rock! With over 6 million Instagram followers, this beauty enthusiast knows her stuff and this palette is no exception!

I’ve been playing with these colors for the last few days and I am so impressed! It’s been a while since I’ve owned any Too Faced shadows. I wore one of their neutral palettes in high school literally EVERY DAY so its been about six years since their shadows have touched my eye lids! But I am very happy to report that I am really digging some of these colors!

The shimmery shades are the standout for me in this palette. Showgirl (intense bronze), Jackpot (deep chocolate brown), Follow Me (royal purple), and Golden Nugget (true gold) are absolutely stunning. However, I feel these shades aren’t necessary unique to Too Faced. You might even have colors like these in your collection already! Showgirl really reminds me of ColourPop ‘Kathleenlights’ which I listed in my Top 8 Shadows for Fall post.

Overall, I think this is a great buy for $45. Instead of searching your collection for individual shadows that match these shades, you can get this set which is perfect for traveling especially when you are pressed for space in your carryon. The packaging is a slim cardboard flip-open box. The shadows are fairly large for a palette, being bigger than the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes. The set also comes with a deluxe sample size of the cult-favorite ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara and ‘Shadow Insurance’ eyeshadow primer. In addition, you get a mini size Glamour Dust (Too Faced’s fancy name for ‘eye pigment’) in ‘Nude Beam’. These are great little extras that definitely enhance the palette.

If you purchased this, let me know your thoughts! This is limited edition, but it is still available at Ulta online and in stores (as of the publication date of this post) so if you want it, grab it now!
