Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in ‘That Glow’

The queen Anastasia Beverly Hills released two, four pan highlighter palettes earlier this year and all the highlighter gods were pleased! These palettes, called Glow Kits, are ridiculously pigmented and are key to achieving the maximum strobe effect. I threw these all over my face so to see shades on my skintone and hear how fabulous these are, keep reading!

So first impression of this palette – “Out of the four of these, I’ve got to have dupes for at least 3/4.”WRONG.

I was struggling just to find dupes for two! These are incredible shades and if you are a brown beauty like me, the Glow Kit in ‘That Glow’ won’t let you down. The whole palette is like a ‘one-stop-shop’ for the everyday makeup lover. It gives you a place where you can have several different highlighters all in one space.

The design of the palette (incredibly thin, about to length of my hand) is easy to handle and a great option for those looking to travel.

On to the formulation – I really wish I had  Anastasia single illuminator to compare formulas, but I don’t so I’m trying to compare it to every other highlighter I have (which is creeping towards 50ish). The formula reminds me of the Ofra Cosmetics highlighter formula, specifically in their collaboration with DupeThat. It’s definitely a powder, but it’s got a creamier consistency to it so the product is easily picked up on your brush without a ton of fallout. Two thumbs up for not wasting product!

I’m excited to bring you guys swatches! If you have any questions about the product or any other products, let me know in the comments below!

Anastasia ‘Dripping in Gold’, MAC ‘Oh, Darling’, Anastasia ‘Bubbly’, Looxi Beauty ‘La Belle’
