First Impression: Looxi Beauty Metallic Highlighters #SquadGoals Collection

I figured it would be incredibly hard to explain the amazingness of Looxi Beauty’s new highlighters, so I figured a picture (video) is worth a thousand words in this case and recorded a quick swatch video. So if you don’t want to read my ramblings, scroll down and get right to that!If you are sticking with me, Looxi really hit the nail on the head again! I’m a fan of bright highlighters and these blinded even ME! I was not expecting the impact they had with just one swipe. Even after you blend a little bit, they maintain their intensity which is wild because most companies claiming super intense highlighters will only fulfill that claim if you don’t blend it out. But honestly, who doesn’t blend their highlighter like crazy – especially when you get highlighter crazy! I’ll pile that baby on swipe after swipe!

I was lucky enough to get these sent to me by the wonderful Jess, owner of Looxi. I was out of town when they arrived at my place and was so bummed I had to wait to swatch them so here I am a week later with a write-up! I’d say my favorite just from the swatches has to be ‘Creme de la Creme’ which resembles my absolute favorite shade from their normal range ‘Divine’. It’s like ‘Divine’ on steroids and that makes me so happy!

They only issue I’ve had with them is crazy flashback in photos! So be careful with these if you plan to have flash photography taken at your destination, because ‘Flossy’ completely washed out my foundation the first time I applied and took photos. I looked so pale I wanted to run to the pool and lay out immediately! So either use sparingly when prepping for an event, or lather it on for some blinding Snap stories.
