Is it just me or is it getting hot in here? No, I think Karity feels the same way!
Karity just released a 21-pan eyeshadow palette that will have you wishing we were heading into summer instead of winter. In contrast to my other Karity palette, Nudes and Rudes, this one is full of warm shades. There is a mix of mattes and shimmers and you know I was all over it!
The mattes and shimmers alternate in the palette which is perfect when you are looking for base and transition shades to match your selected shimmer shade. Some gorgeous combos are just waiting for me to get my brushes out: Sunrise & Bobbie, Hayley & Harvest, Fahrenheit & Flamenco, and Sass/Flora & Epice. My favorites from this palette were the shimmers. I was very impressed with how buttery they were in finger swatches. I also appreciated the mattes – they were very pigmented and I thought all the shades on the second and third rows would look great on brown skin tones.
It’s rare to find reds and reddish orange matte shades so get ready to have your minds blown with Flamenco and Spicy! Pigmentation held up well in finger swatches but they do blend out very easily and become more sheer if you go blend crazy. If you want to pack in the pigment, be prepared to layer on the skin.
