I’ve been on an eyeshadow kick for a long. Take a look at my previous posts from the last year and I’ll bet you 90% of them are about eyeshadow. While my eye obsession will never be dampened, today it’s all about the lips! Karity is launching a 9-shade extension to their liquid lipstick line on February 14th aptly named “The Mattes” after their luxurious velvet matte formula that will have you guessing if you have on any lipstick at all!

Overall, I thought these applied very well! They were incredibly light on the lips and it felt like I had nothing on. The deeper colors did layer well, I only had real issues with ‘High Key’ applying patchy and not wanting to layer up. ‘In the 212′ is my favorite from the bunch with ’99 Problems’ coming in second. I’m wearing ‘In the 212’ on my lips in the picture above – it’s a gorgeous nude for brown skin. At only $6, these are a great buy and you can feel more free to purchase a few instead of betting it all on one. Expect to see ‘In the 212’, ‘Matchas Gracias’, ’99 Problems’ and ‘Pepper’ in upcoming looks.
